Inside the resource
Everything you need to know before adding it to your server.
A taxi job with server-issued NPC fares and player bookings, a UK meter, a council top-up wage, XP to level 50, ratings, VIP clients, challenges and a dispatch tablet, plus a free phone app that works with lb-phone, for Qbox, QBCore and ESX.
NPC fares
The dispatcher offers a fare on a card. Accept with Y, drive to the pickup, the passenger gets in, drive them to the drop-off and get paid.
- Standard fares, express fares with a time limit (level 3, opt in), VIP clients (level 10 and a 4.5 rating; they refuse a dirty or damaged cab) and off-books runs paid in
black_money(level 8) - Ride events: flat tyre, engine failure, roadside robbery and change of destination, plus ambushes at the pickup or drop-off (never on VIP fares)
- Clock in at the depot and the server spawns your cab at a free bay with keys and a full tank; anyone can drive by default, or require the
taxijob - Every accepted fare can end: ABANDON JOB, Return Cab, Clock Out, a pickup deadline and a watchdog if the cab is gone or the driver is down or away from it
Player bookings
A player types /calltaxi or uses the phone app, and the nearest free drivers get the call.
- Before booking the passenger sees how many cabs are free and the ETA, never a driver's name or distance
- The call goes to the 3 nearest free drivers within 2.5 km, then the next 3, up to 3 rounds
- Once accepted, the passenger sees the driver's first name, the plate, the ETA and a blip on the cab
- At the end the passenger pays from a dialog: bank or cash, a tip and a star rating; the balance is checked first and never goes negative
Meter and pay
- UK meter: £3.80 flag fall, £2.20 a mile and £0.35 a minute, or a flat £10, or time only; fares in whole pounds
- The server measures distance and time itself; the meter strip only shows them, in three positions (
/taximeter) - Council top-up: the council pays the difference between the street fare and a per-minute wage for the time the fare really needs (
Config.CitySubsidy, can be switched off) - 20 paid fares per rolling hour, cooldowns, an abandon cooldown, a pickup deadline and an overtime limit, all in the config
Progression
- XP to level 50 (capped per ride), a weighted rating, the VIP unlock and the Dynasty at level 15
- Daily and weekly challenges with XP and cash
- Today, week and all-time rankings
Dispatch tablet and phone app
The Dispatch tablet (F5 or /taxiduty) in the NO BS Horizon style: SHIFT, CALLS, PROGRESS, RANKINGS, SETTINGS, and WASH when the wash is on.
- Also on screen: the job card, the meter strip, the call-a-cab dialog, the booking pill and the pay-your-fare dialog
- Q / E switch tabs, Esc closes; the HUD hides while the tablet is open and it follows the
/hudaccent colour - Closes on death or last stand and never keeps the mouse; every key is a FiveM key mapping players can rebind
- Works with lb-phone: the bundled "LS Cabs" app, free in the package, with DRIVE (clock in and out, accept fares and bookings, the live fare) and RIDE (book a cab, follow it, rate the driver)
- 17mov_Phone gets the same app; npwd gets notifications
Extras
- Optional money wash on rides (off by default), with police and robbery risks
- Police alerts for off-books runs and the wash, sent by the server: NO BS Dispatch, cd_dispatch, ps-dispatch, rcore_dispatch, qbx_police or a built-in alert to on-duty police
- Optional
taxi_receiptitem after each paid NPC fare (off by default) - no-bs-hud-v3 toasts and accent, optional no-bs-logs staff audit, and
/taxiadminfor staff
Requirements
OneSync (the resource will not start without it), ox_lib and oxmysql. Qbox, QBCore or ESX, detected at start; with no framework it runs standalone and logs payouts instead of paying them. Keep sv_entityLockdown at its default, inactive: strict and relaxed block NPC passengers. Remove qbx_taxijob or qb-taxijob first. Optional: ox_inventory (off-books black_money, the receipt item), ox_target, no-bs-hud-v3, a dispatch resource, a vehicle keys resource, lb-phone, 17mov_Phone or npwd. Five tables are created on first start.
