Inside the resource

Everything you need to know before adding it to your server.

A replacement skin for the ox_lib and ox_target interfaces - notifications, text UI, progress, context menus, dialogs, list and radial menus, skill check and the target eye - in the NO BS HUD look. One manifest line per resource; their Lua stays stock.

One look for everything ox_lib draws

ox_lib and ox_target draw their interfaces in their own NUI pages. NO BS UI is a replacement page that speaks the same message protocol, so scripts keep calling lib.notify, lib.inputDialog, lib.progressBar, exports.ox_target:addBoxZone and the rest exactly as before, and every one of them comes out as dark square slats, an accent stripe, skewed chips and Barlow Condensed.

  • Notifications, text UI with key chips, progress bar and circle
  • Context menu with a metadata panel, input dialog with every field type, alert dialog
  • Keyboard list menu, radial menu with paging, skill check, clipboard
  • ox_target's eye, option list and connector lines
  • Plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript: no build step, no CDN, nothing fetched from the internet

Notifications that behave

A script that spams forty messages must not cover the screen. Eight stacks, a per-corner limit with a queue, a counter for identical messages, in-place updates for notifications with an id, and a whitelist for the style tables scripts send.

  • top, top-right, top-left, bottom, bottom-right, bottom-left, center-right, center-left
  • With NO BS HUD running the stacks sit clear of its info block, minimap and speedometer
  • Font Awesome Free 6.7 icons as inline SVG, loaded on first use
  • Text is never turned into markup

Dialogs, menus and the radial

The input dialog draws its own select, multi-select, slider, colour picker, calendar, date range and time widgets in the same design language, and posts exactly the values ox_lib's Lua expects. The radial never has fewer than six wedges, pages when there are more items than fit, and the number keys pick a wedge.

  • Every callback payload and its timing follow the vendor page (documented per interface in PROTOCOL.md)
  • Deliberate differences are listed, with the reason, in the README
  • Layout in 1920 x 1080 pixels scaled to the player's screen; ultrawide hugs the real edges

Install, check, extend

Two install methods: one ui_page line per resource, or copy the pages into the vendor resource (required for ox_target 1.18+ with NUI callback strict mode). On every start the server console says whether each vendor resource is applied and, if not, the exact line to change; nobsui runs the check again.

  • Every setting in one plain config.js; the look in three plain stylesheets
  • A plugins.js extension point for forks that send extra messages
  • Idle cost zero: no timers, animation frames or observers while nothing is on screen
  • Rollback is putting the vendor line back

Requirements. ox_lib 3.32 - 3.38 (message protocol verified; a newer version prints a note in the console and should be checked in game before players see it) and / or ox_target 1.17.x; ox_target 1.18 and newer needs the copy-in install method. Any framework, or none. Optional: no-bs-hud-v3 for the live accent colour and the HUD-aware notification position. Not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Overextended / CommunityOx; ox_lib and ox_target are not included.

What you can edit. web/shared/config.js (accent, scale, positions, durations, limits, behaviour switches, locale fallbacks), web/shared/tokens.css, web/lib/lib.css, web/target/target.css, web/shared/plugins.js, and both Lua files (client.lua, server.lua), which are readable.

£20 one-time purchase, delivered to the account linked at checkout through asset escrow. Nothing in this resource is encrypted: both Lua files and every HTML, CSS and JavaScript file stay readable and editable; escrow ties it to the server keys on the buying account. This product contains no ox_lib or ox_target code; those resources stay under their own licences in your own copies, and the one manifest line you change is in them, not here.
