Inside the resource

Everything you need to know before adding it to your server.

Street dealing run from a trap phone item: corner sales with a face-to-face haggle, drop-offs and bulk deals, buyer moods, a weekly payout to the top seller and prices and police alerts decided by the server, for Qbox, QBCore and ESX.

What's new in 2.5.0

2.5.0 is the first update since 1.0.0. It includes security fixes, a new haggle screen and a new trap phone. Replace the folder and copy your values into the new config.lua; your database tables are kept and upgraded on start. The CHANGELOG lists every setting that was added, removed or changed since 1.0.0.

  • Security: every price, payout, robbery, buyer mood and haggle result is decided on the server, and police alerts are raised by the server only, once per stage, at the deal's position (the default stock qbx_police alert marks the seller)
  • The Street Deal card: a new haggle screen for corner buyers with a live read of the buyer
  • Knock-backs, buyer moods, buyer patience and voiced buyers (79 lines in 9 voices through xsound, with a text fallback)
  • A new trap phone: lock screen, notifications, quick settings, dark mode, weekly and all-time rankings
  • Automatic weekly payout to the top seller, queued if they are offline; nothing to claim
  • Drop-offs and bulk deals with timed handovers, police paged at the site and offers that expire
  • Rebalanced economy defaults (your own values are kept if you copy them over) and the stock Qbox drug items as the default products
  • Discord logs for sales, drop-offs, bulk deals, weekly resets and admin actions, with webhook URLs kept out of the shared config

The trap phone

Using the trap_phone item opens a burner phone in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Everything starts from here.

  • Home: pick a product, START / STOP TRAPPING, your Street Rep level and XP, the current job, this week's sales, your zone and the street heat
  • Chat: drop-off and bulk offers arrive here to accept, decline or negotiate
  • Ranks: this week's board and the all-time board with the reset countdown
  • Menu: switch corner sales, drop-offs and bulk deals on and off
  • Lock screen, notifications (also as a small peek while the phone is put away), quick settings, Do Not Disturb and dark mode
  • Street heat shows DEAD / LOW / MED / HIGH: a police band, not a live head count

Corner sales and the Street Deal card

Sell on foot inside a selling zone. A buyer walks up from the pavement and you accept, haggle or decline from the third eye.

  • Haggle on the Street Deal card: a slider from x0.60 to x2.00 of the asking price, a live read of the buyer in words (never a percentage) and two offers per buyer
  • A first refusal is usually a knock-back; push too far and buyers walk, square up or pull a knife
  • Hidden buyer moods change the price and the chance they talk to the police; an ignored buyer leaves and costs XP
  • Keyboard control (A / D, the arrow keys or the mouse wheel, Enter, Esc); the card follows the no-bs-hud-v3 accent colour
  • A "Where that went" toast after each sale explains the price
  • Optional voiced buyers from the buyer's position through xsound; without it the line floats above the buyer

Drop-offs and bulk deals

  • Drop-off offers arrive in Chat every 90-180 seconds with product, amount, price and a named location; negotiate, accept or decline
  • Follow the GPS, the contact appears when you get close, and the handover is a 30-second bar at the site; half of handovers page the police
  • Bulk deals from Street Rep level 5, with at least 25 of the product and 2 police on duty: 10-25 units, one offer every 30 minutes
  • Accepting a bulk deal tips the police off, and the handover cannot start until 60 seconds after you accepted

Progression and the weekly cycle

  • 10 XP per sale and 100 levels; the rep level adds a little to every price and unlocks products and bulk deals
  • Quiet streets: with fewer than 2 police on duty, pay and XP fall
  • Every 7 days the top seller gets £10,000 of dirty cash and 500 XP automatically, paid at their next login if they are offline
  • Weekly and all-time boards on the phone, plus a laptop prop in the world showing this week's top 10

Police and integrations

  • On-duty police needed to sell (Config.MinPolice, 1 by default), checked when an offer is made and again when the deal is done
  • Qbox counts every on-duty leo job; QBCore and ESX use Config.PoliceJobs
  • Police alerts: the stock Qbox qbx_police alert by default (it marks the seller), or nbs_dispatch, cd_dispatch, rcore_dispatch or lb-phone, which point at the deal itself
  • Optional hooks for an evidence resource, op-crime turf loyalty, a double-XP multiplier and a gang-rep event

Requirements

ox_lib, ox_inventory, ox_target and oxmysql, plus one of qbx_core, qb-core or es_extended (detected at start); qb-target can draw the options instead of ox_target. Add the trap_phone item and picture from install/. The products ship as the stock Qbox drug items; rename the keys in Config.Drugs to use your own. On a stock Qbox server, switch off qbx_drugs' corner selling first. Optional: xsound for voiced buyers, a supported dispatch resource, no-bs-hud-v3. The voice pack adds about 24 MB to every client's download; the README explains how to remove it.

What you can edit

config.lua (products, zones, prices, police rules, haggling, offers, the weekly payout, integrations), every message the scripts send in locales/, server/secrets.lua (webhook URLs, or use server convars), the framework, inventory, target, notification and dispatch bridges, client/phone_exports.lua (public exports), the SQL and item files, and the whole html/ folder (the trap phone, the Street Deal card and the voice clips).

£20 one-time purchase, delivered to the account linked at checkout through asset escrow. Core Lua is protected. Configuration, translations, integration bridges and supplied examples remain editable. Browser interface files such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript remain readable and are not encrypted.
