NO BS Wallet & Driving School

A physical wallet and every card in it: ID, licences, staff cards, badge wallets, tickets and coupons as real inventory items backed by a server-side register, with a city hall, a theory test and an examined road test, a bar exam, penalty points and an admin panel. UK by default, US with one setting.

Cards are things you carry

Every card is an inventory item. The city hall puts it in your pockets; you open your wallet and add it. Take it out, show it, hand it over, throw the disposable ones away. Nothing appears in a wallet unless someone put it there.

• Wallet item with its own serial and 20 slots; a found wallet opens read-only in the finder's hands

• A revoked card is destroyed everywhere; a suspension is a stamp that lifts on its own

City hall and driving school

Two clerks ship: the city hall for IDs, licences, staff cards, wallets, printers and a job centre, and a driving test centre with a theory test and a practical road test with an examiner in the passenger seat.

• Photo taken on the spot for the ID (screencapture), or a ped headshot without it
• Retake photo at the city hall with a keep / try again preview; no photo is taken in noclip, invisible, in a vehicle or mid-air; admins can retake or clear a photo
• Dates of birth read from any common format and any year from 1900 (also before 1970), from the usual charinfo fields or your own character creator through one config hook
• Provisional licence, theory test from a shuffled question bank, then a marked road test with speed zones, stops, lights and pedestrians; minor, serious and dangerous faults; car and motorcycle categories
• The road test is marked by the server: it watches the test car itself (route, speed, knocks, stops), so a modified client cannot pass without driving (needs OneSync, on by default)
• Bar exam and Bar Card for lawyers with a criminal-record check through your MDT - at the city hall, or run by the lawyer job from the NO BS Bossmenu Bar Register (1.6.0+) with two config lines
• Licence applications reviewed by an admin, renew and replace a lost card
• UK penalty points from roadside police, any fines script (one server event) or an export, mirrored to the lb-tablet MDT

Regions, staff cards and vouchers

Config.Region = 'uk' or 'us' switches every card design, wording, date and phone format, driving categories, question banks and which licences are offered. Staff cards need nothing typed. Businesses print their own tickets and coupons and every code is registered.

Police, admin and integrations

On-duty police check a licence, add points, suspend or revoke it from an ox_target option. The admin panel finds anyone by name or id and shows where every one of their cards is.

Requirements

Qbox, QBCore or ESX (auto-detected, bridged). ox_lib and oxmysql required; ox_inventory required on Qbox and ESX (QBCore can fall back to framework items); ox_target optional (E-key prompt and commands without it); screencapture optional for the ID photo; OneSync (on by default) for the road test. Ten tables are created on first start. Remove qbx_idcard, qbx_cityhall and their items before the first start - the install guide walks through it.

What you can edit

config.lua, config_exams.lua (question banks) and config_driving.lua (test routes and marking), every string in locales/, server/secrets.lua (webhook and photo-storage tokens, blank by default), the three framework bridges, the item and picture set in install/, and the whole interface under web/.
